Refer to the anatomy chart for muscle fiber directions.
Skeletal muscles attach to bones, from one bone to another. Their contraction creates movement. These muscles are long parallel fibers. Most problems occur closer to the attachments. You can treat these constrictions with the MD4 self back massager. Stay in soft tissue, not against bones. Use the greatest depth that is slow and comfortable.
Four basic techniques are sustained pressure, elongation, cross fiber, and circular.
Use MasseurDouglas products to treat muscle adhesions, spasms, trigger point pain patterns, and connective tissue tension.
